Founded in 1986, the 30 year company is rapidly expanding its business with two new factories in the North and central of the country coming on line early 2017 and we are on the lookout for talented Sales staff to complement our current team.
Sales Manager Modern Trade: A talented professional who will be responsible to aggressively implement company sales plans for the modern trade while enhancing the presence of our products and supervise a team of sales staff and merchandisers .
He will be expected to have a winning personality with good communicating skills and will keep constant and effective contacts with key decision makers and management of the super market operators and negotiate on behalf of the company. He will also monitor purchasing trends and keep a close eye on competitive activity in the sector.
The Sales Manager Modern Trade will report directly to the Chief operating officer /Head of Marketing and together with his team will serve as the point-person for developing, implementing and executing sales plans and achieving targets for the sector.
He will assist in marketing initiatives such as campaigns and events focused on the modern trade. He or she will have good professional judgment and discretion that comes from experience in the field.
Your Skills set should be: Excellent written and verbal communication skills In English & Sinhala with Tamil being an added advantage. Analytical skills to forecast demand, comfort with CRM software, budget & sales target management skills and proficiency & familiarity with the latest consumer trends will be key requisites whilst in-depth understanding culinary products and concepts will be advantageous, He must be a good listener with a winning personality, be results oriented with ability to think creatively and innovatively and be able to motivate and drive the colleagues and subordinated on achieving company sales targets.
