ASSOCIATE SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR – Nagananda International Institute for Buddhist Studies

Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring smooth function and maximum uptime of the systems, servers and the networks
• Carrying out administrative tasks of the servers, systems and the networks
• Ensuring availability of internet, telephone and network connectivity for NUBS staff
• Coordinating and liaising with internal and external stakeholders to provide uninterrupted and optimize technical services
• Maintaining, configuring, optimizing and monitoring IT services of the NUBS
• Providing help desk assistance, troubleshooting and technical support to NUBS staff
• Securing NUBS networks, peripherals, equipment, users and data
• Improving and upgrading NUBS IT services and solutions
• Introducing new technologies and solutions to cater the requirements of the NIIBS
• Providing administrative assistance to Head of Centre for IT

Qualifications and Pre-requisites:
• Bachelor/Higher Diploma in IT/Computer Science or relevant field
• Professional certifications in server/system administration
• 2 years relevant industry experience
• Knowledge in Windows Servers
• Knowledge in Moodle and open source systems
• Positive attitude
• Salary – Negotiable
