Ceylon Tea Trails opened in 2005 as a collection of five colonial era tea planters’ bungalows restored to impeccable style, to offer a taste of gracious living in 26 suites and rooms, with butler service and original furnishings, accompanied by gourmet meals.

The Role
We seeks a Demi Chef De Partie & Chef De Partie to perform daily operations of the assigned kitchen to meet the expected high quality and standards in all cooking preparation and presentation of plates. He shall ensure that health and food safety standards are practiced and helps trouble shoot any kitchen issues that may arise. He must be organized even when working under pressure and thrive in a fast paced environment.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 2 years culinary experience in a reputed hotel or in a restaurant in Sri Lanka or abroad in a similar position. He must be able to work flexible and extended hours. A co-operation and responsive attitude, proactive, young and energetic, pre-emptive alert to customer needs is expected. If have working experience in a la carte or in a fine dining kitchen is an added qualification.
