As an ICT Engineer, you will be working in a support team environment which service organisation requirements. As a key member of our team, you will work very closely with Senior ICT Engineers and end-users to deliver the best possible solutions with the latest techniques and tools. Also this role will require you to contribute to technical design by participating in technical team discussions and responsibilities include troubleshooting and resolution of level 1 and 2 incidents, information requests and change requests
Tasks and Responsibilities
— Provide 1st & 2nd level support globally and escalate to the next support level.
— Analyze help desk issues to identify permanent solutions, improvements and quality assurance.
— Resolution documentation.
— Maintaining software applications, operating systems and regular windows server maintenance tasks.
Qualifications and Experience
— Microsoft Server ceitification. [MCP/MCSA]
— 1-2 years in an IT Help desk / desktop support environment.
— Sound working knowledge of a range of technologies including Windows 2008/2012 Server, Windows.
— Experience in Microsoft Office 365 will be added advantage.
— Exposure to Cloud environment (storage and backup systems).
— Strong knowledge of network infrastructure is an advantage
Skills and Attributes
— Ability to work 24×7 roster base.
— Understanding of network infrastructure environment (i.e. LAN/WAN)
— Hands on experience in Remote Desktop tools and good knowledge in Service desk systems
— Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English
— Excellent customer service skills on the phone and in person.
