EN-Projects designs, builds and equips hospitals in developing countries around the world. We have been successfully operating in Sri Lanka for over six years and are looking to recruit an experienced and multi-talented individual to co-ordinate our activities in country.
Currently, EN-Projects has three active turn-key hospital contracts in Sri Lanka. Two are nearing completion (formal handover is expected during Q3 2018) and one is due for completion in 2020. All contracts are complete design, build, equip and maintain of General hospitals (300 – 900 beds) for 12 months.
The Country Manager position will oversee the completion of the three projects, including significant liaison and co-ordination with the client. Each contract has an existing Project Manager, who reports to the Country Manager. In turn the Country Manager reports to the Operations Office in the UK. The position will be based in Sri Lanka either in or near to Colombo.
The applicant is required to demonstrate significant interpersonal skills including experience of managing senior stakeholders within private or government institutions. The successful candidate will have a strong history of programme management, ideally including the management of multiple project managers, and should be able to demonstrate an aptitude for efficient decision-making in a range of environments. The applicant should have international project experience and demonstrate ability to work independently in-country. Construction and/or medical equipment related background will be favourable.
